Born in San Antonio and raised in the Midwest, I moved to Hays County, Texas 8 years ago with my husband who is a Native Texan. Shortly after arriving, we welcomed our first of two children, now ages 5 and 7. As a family we enjoy exploring and deepening our roots Central Texas. My experience of home has always been about family, friends, good food, and lots of laughter. I’m passionate about strengthening local communities and have an extensive background in working for and volunteering with both local and global non profit organizations that support youth of all ages.
